Whether or not you watched the show Huge on ABC family, I think you should sign this petition to try and save it from getting cancelled. I didn’t really notice how most shows don’t have big people and the shows that do usually make jokes around the person being fat and the rest of the shows of big people are pushing them to lose weight, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it makes it seem like being fat or big is wrong.

I only got to see the pilot episode of Huge and it seemed pretty good. I was actually excited for a show about a girl embracing and loving her body.  I felt like the media was making a break through and to hear that the show is getting cancelled is terrible, it’s like we’re back to square one.

More than anything this show also showed a strong willed girl. From that one episode I saw I noticed that Willamina was not your “typical” girl. She is strong willed and opinionated. She was very outspoken and let the people at the camp know how she felt. If it wasn’t through her art work, it was simply by telling people what was on her mind.  They are taking a great show off air probably because it didn’t have many viewers, but according to Chloe, the show had about 2 millions viewers.  I think it was probably helping to bring up a lot of self esteems but TV networks never think of that and it sucks.
